That's what glowmaps are for

and yeah...I'm doing the UV mapping ATM on sections, I can chgange the texture applied to them...I'm still looking for a good combo for a hybrid.

I like it. Before, I wouldn't have really called it a hybrid. Whereas a hybrid is something that was engineered from the beginning, it used to look like more of a "cross-between" than something anyone would actually design and build.

But now, it actually looks like the Vasudan Navy is making a conscious effort to replicate and integrate Shivan technology onto existing designs. Definitely the right decision to go with entirely Vasudan textures, but a slight red glow here or there to denote active Shivan systems wouldn't go astray.

Well... as far as texturing goes this is a HOL ship...not a vasudan navy ship...so I was thinking maby orange or purpleish glows & beamz.
