I just finished playing THE GREAT WAR in the FSPort. Now I have the nostalgic urge to view all the cutscenes and nothing but...for both FS1 and FS2. I dont remember what to type in to unlock them in the tech rooms. I dont want to play through the entire things just to see the cinematics. How do I do this? Long ago I knew how....but now I dont. Help me please...I got the discs but not the means...

If you've got the ogg movies (and perhaps the MVE movies) you can play them stand-alone in VLC.

I figured out why my 3.6.9 wasnt working. My custom ship tbls werent compatible.
In-game though how can I unlock all the cutscenes so I can view them. Now that I got 3.6.9 to work right and I got all the MVEs from the discs in place. It plays the intro movies to FS1 and FS2...but cant access the others....

Press ctrl+shift+s in whatever room you're in to unlock everything.

Sorry then, not sure what to tell you.  It always unlocked everything for me.  You're holding down all three at the same time, right?

Press those keys in the ship database screen and then go into movie section. They don't work if you use them in the movie section itself.

not working....it works in the tech database....in the missions list screen.....i tried it in both separately.
one thing I did notice is when I used the code in the tech database...i click on cutscenes (nothing there but the intro)...and I go back to the tech database...I have to use the code again for everything to show up again...

I have all the movies in the data/movies subfolder....the intros work okay but the others wont show up with CTRL SHIFT S

if you have any inkling of (and I know I messed up when I made my name) that the Agamemnon from Babylon 5 was Sheridans ship (one sig quote of mine is from him)...and BABYLON 5 was "the last best hope for peace"

hey....i didnt start the smart remarks...
now could someone PLEASE help here. the ctrl shift S isnt making the other movies show up. no matter where I try it it works where I try it but not where I want it
