Has anyone seen this? it looks pretty good, nice and organic looking, def better looking than ST legacy. Nice to see another space game for once.

I played the multiplayer beta. Was kinda boring. Didn't like the resourcing mechanics either. To each their own I guess though. The organic morphing technology is pretty neat I'll admit but doesn''t make up for lack of gameplay.

Some of the ships in there remind me of Eve, there's one that looks oddly like a cross between a Prophecy and a Brutix....

I played the demo just now. I'm not sure I'd say it's actually bad, but it's not exactly great either. It's stuck in some sort of between-world full of unrealised gameplay ideas and potentially interesting stories.

I thought about getting Nexus, but I was afraid of disappointment.  Do I take this as areccomendation from you guys?

Nexus the Jupiter Incident is a great tactical sci-fi fleet simulator. I had a blast playing through it three times.

I'd recommend it too, very enjoyable and challenging game, though some of the voice acting is a bit....wooden, but not unbearably so :)
