hmm, but don't forget the 4 BFred, already in range (there should be the warmup glow already  
And dunno about your weapons, but to waste a 6 km long ship with the damn high HP of the sathanas, they would have to be, well, VERY powerful.

Well, those Ion cannons can fire totally broadside, so it isnt really flanked...
Second, they are powerful, probably just as powerful as the BFReds, if not more...

I think that asside from the heavy ion cannons, the projectile cannons on the HC are designed to fight more fragile hulls of radically designed ships, like throwing a rock at a motherboard. But the sathanas has one heavy ***  of a shell going on like a turtle, throw a rock at a turtle's shell dosn't do much, unless its one hella big rock.

Well, they are fairly big, the turrets themselves are about half the size of a frigate...
