If anything Leonidas is like Bush. He's the one sounding the alarm on the Persians, and the Democrats in congress are doing everything they can to prevent him from waging the war.

Re: Cluster**** To The White House(TM)
Xerxes; commander of a numerically superior army, intent on waging war against a smaller state.  Paraded the corpse of his dead enemy.

Leonidas; led a small force against a massive one, despite the knowledge of his sure death.  Refused to take a larger army due to religious reasons; revered as a martyr - a very rare accord* -  by his people after dying in battle.

*death was considered an occupational hazard for Spartans, and the widespread mourning for Leonidas was unusual and only due to the oracle requiring it

In all honesty, I think Guliani has a good chance of winning.

If Leonidas was Bush he would have marched his army into Athens after building a case to attack it with obsidian blades instead of bronze, and wondered why Sparta was razed by the Persians.

Actually, an interview with Frank Miller on NPR about 300 was cut short because he wasn't giving the answers they wanted to hear - see aldo's description.

:wtf:
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

When in Rome...
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

I'd say phylogenetic approach is better than classic morphological approach when dealing with closely related taxon and interfamily relationships.
