I'm wondering if it's possible to play Saga without a joystick? And if so, how can I do that? I'm itching to give one of those old ships a ride

you could use a gamepad. If you do not have one, keyboard will do. But do expect to repeat missions more than once

I play with this:


Simply hit F2, then turn the mouse on. Crank up the sensitivity while you're at it.

I actually got pretty good with the keyboard.  Its not really that bad provided you have your buttons mapped out correctly. Just a little difficult to get an accurate shot but that takes practice and with energy weapons you have plenty of shots to go around   If you get annoyed with some tricky darket or light fighter just fire a missile and he becomes no longer a problem.

i even played it with a Wii Mote controller, although it's quite hard then, the sensetivity is a bit low but it does work. but usualy i play with the keyboard and when you get used to it, it plays pretty good

Heh, the mouse with the sensitivity on max is not all bad... that's what I've been using.
