You know, it's weird, as good as google search is in its general use, I hate when sites resolve to using it as their own site's search ability, because I still never find what I'm looking for.

Right, but I was talking about Google's ability to search any site, regardless of whether that site uses them or not.    It's just not quite up-to-date, unless it just did a rescan of your site.  (Usually search results are a few days to a few weeks old.)

I did some research with Google AdSense, and found that to get the most hits you should use the term "Descent", so "Descent FreeSpace" will work nicely. "SCP" will do nothing for you. I would use "Descent FreeSpace 1 and 2, Patched, with Enhanced Graphics, Installer and Extra Missions". That should separate you from the crowd and give good search hits. SCP can be explained in the body text but I don't think it will help in the title.

Ah, thx... Hmm, I guess put a new one up when 3.6.9 MVP's come out?  I don't want to quit the current one just yet as that will make some ppl SOL.  EDIT: Hmm, only one peer... I may actually be able to get away with deleting this and not upsetting anybody.  Interesting.  Oh, and what's the best tracker / search combo to use?  I'm currently using TorrentBox as a tracker and isohunt for the release... or something like that.  ah, why don't you tell me what I'm using... I'm using TorrentBox for the tracker; why did I need isohunt again?

Well, you could keep that one up, and I could release the same file but under the new name...

I've been using Demonoid for tracking and Torrentspy for searching.

It's hard keeping this torrent up to date, and there's a lot of inertia because it's so large.

So, I could add the patch and BTRL, plus a new text file, and release that.

Ah, yes, then I could d'l it, start seeding, and edit my torrent to say that it's going to be down soon, so please download this other one instead.  Then, after there are not leechers, I can delete the torrent, right?

How would be the fastest way for me to d'l your updated torrent once you start it?

Cool.  But as soon as 2.0 comes out, I"m going to make a torrent of it, and change 1.0 to say to get the new one instead.  Then, once we have 0 leechers, we can delete the old torrent, to prevent wasted time downloading the old version.  Oh, BTW, I had an idea.. you said space might be an issue.  Make it a multi-DVD set?  Like FS Retail was 3 CDs?  Just have the Installer ask for the next disc.  Or, put bonus content (the TCs, artwork, etc.) on another disc.
