the front view looks good to me, cool ship

I would just add fins under the engine pods, showing like that from the front: \ /
but it's all about personal taste and it's great the way it is

It looks great. I notice you beefed up the neck a bit and changed the surface detail.

I'd go with Scimitar, myself, for the name.

well with it kidna happened because of the shortening of the nose - when i did that with the thin neck it looked redculas - like someone was half way trough wringing its neck so it made sence - and yup i added a panelling texture to make it slight more contructed than before - however it hides the  procedral texture a little to well =( but cant have everything - i also start contruction on a basic cockpit to put in there makes it abit mroe interesting to look at

VERY nice looking fighter.   For the name, I'd go with GTF Scimitar, too.

BTW, what's a samauri? I know what a samurai is, but I've never heard of a "samauri" before...

What's this fighter's job? Heavy assault? Space superiority? Or Interception? IMHO, it looks too "big" to be anything but heavy assault to me...

And fins added to the engine pods couldn't hurt.

just my bad spelling thats all - but i see it as a heavy assult fighter but a fast one - - got some serious weapons on it so using its speed it charges in behind enemy fighter screen unloads on its target them blasts back through to safety - its also atmospheric capable and can be used for plantery assault.

and i dont know about fins. might try it with them sometime but for now i like the design - just need to refine it here and there

If not fins, how about 'skid' bars? Like you see on the bottom of boats and the like? It would add a touch more detail, and also give a little more impression as to the flow of the hull by presenting lines for the eye to follow.

Just maybe a little more varied texture job and add maybe giant shoulder guns like on a Super Valkyrie j/k

Maybe a boat was a bad example. You know the trim that runs the lenght of some cars, about halfway up the side? Its meant to protect the paint from someone opening their door against yours. Some small boats have something like this on the underside (though not to protect the pain, but to create less drag).
