Mmm, I don't care for it either... it's alright, but I don't think it quite "clicks", and the words are too repetitive for sanity.

MY

POINT

STILL

STANDS

this thread isn't about what you, or ANYBODY ELSE thinks about the song used in a video that UT put together..
You're obviously an intelligent fellow, you can obviously pull your head out of your ass for long enough to look at the video.

and again, DO NOT put words in my mouth, be a self-righteous ****tard somewhere else.

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

Re: Battlestar Galactica Music Video
I did notice that... I prefer to keep my head clear of my rectum, thank you very much.  And I still think another song would have been better... but I'm not saying that this song isn't good.  The song doesn't seem too repetitive to you, Hades?  I like the drive, but...

Re: Battlestar Galactica Music Video
I enjoyed the video - I'm not a Battlestar expert (only played the game), but I can say this movie makes me want to see the series . I found the transitions good - at some point I think that there's even the mouth of an actor that corresponds to what is said in the music (just a little one second of movie).

As for the music, it doesn't really corresponds to the sci-fi theme (I don't mind a lot tho) and it does become a bit repetitive. However there's a lot of video content and usually the scenes corresponds to the beat of the music, which make the overall thing catch up. When it comes to music I don't think I can be very critic here - I listen to almost everything.

I don't know if it would have been possible to integrate the logo in a more progressive way in the end.

Next time someone posts anything even remotely flaming in this thread, it gets locked.

FYI.
