Just had an idea whilst reading on Q3A TCs:  Maybe we could get some developers of the FS2 TCs to post here: http://freegamer.blogspot.com/ for more publicity... couldn't hurt..   Well?

Ya, eg, the only thing from FS or Q3 that is being used is the engine (the .exe file); none of the original game content (Q3 or FS) is required to run a TC.  (ala BtRL, TBP, WCS...)

there is Release 1 (old, abandoned, not a TC, but works with an available SCP patch)
there is Inferno: Alliance (works, not sure where it fits in, not a TC yet...)
there is Inferno: SCP (going to be a TC)
- you might want to ask an Inferno staffmember to untangle this mess for you... I'm not sure exactly how they are proceeding at this point.

Don't forget about the Homeworld and Starwars conversions, or are you only talking about released (to some extent, at least) TCs?

1) pretend you don't know where to find Shadows of Lylat
2) go to the "Hosted Projects" section in HLP main forums
3) tell me how to find it without knowing its name or what it is.
4) do the same for every other TC or project that is not listed in the hosted projects section

5) The fact that you already posted a link to another TC that's hosted on Game-Warden (BtRL) suggests that, just maybe, you already know enough to be expected to be able to find it yourself.
6) If you're referring to someone new looking at this thread, I already posted the link, so the point is moot. :p
