Assuming Lucifer is not destroyed - it would still be damaged, lost most of it's reacotrs...you'd think it could stand against the 1st Fleet (the best terrans got)? Could it even power up the shield?

In the first mission of my minicampaign (released in the INFA internal ), Lucy has just emerged from the node, after destroying the Bastion (which collapses the node).
Most of its reactors are down, beams are not working, it's disabled, glowmaps are off and turrets are firing inaccurately, but the shield is still up. It's attacked by 2 destroyers and... oh wait, you'll discover when if I'll finish it.

I had an idea for something similar. Basically, the Lucifer survives and goes on a rampage. After wiping out Sol, the GTA regroups in Laramis and other out-of-the-way systems and tries to survive. Then the SD Hades engages the Lucifer in subspace. Or maybe it tries to capture it... some GTI intrigue there.

Have you noticed in the taranis clutsene and in the command briefing that there was another jumpnode leading to sol?How the hell did the luficer blow up to nodes?
