Unlimited wreckage option?
I was wondering about some kind of option or tweak that lets you uncap the maximum number of "debris" that are created in 1 mission?  What I mean is towards and at the end of a mission ships stop spawning wreckage chunks and it's quite annoying to see this huge ship you've been fighting at the end of level to just disappear into a explosion. 
I posted this with some other questions in the FSupgrade forum but this one is more of a FS2 question and is really starting to bug me (I like wreckage) there must be some kind of command or tweak to uncap it?

Persistant debris methinks you mean. Just like Starlancer (no i dont worship the starlancer gods) but it just seems to be that the effect he wants is closer to SLancer than FS2.  :)

I don't mind if the wreckage explodes after awhile, I'd just like it if the game would stop not spawning wreckage after the mission already has a bunch in it.
For example:
I blow up a freighter at the start of a stage= bits of freighter are spawned with explosion.
I blow up the same freighter at the end of a stage when there is already lots of wreckage= no bits of freighter spawned just an explosion.
This goes for all ships not just helpless freighters ;)

Could there be made an option to increase the max debris count?  Or shut if off entirely?  "fs_open_3_6_9.exe -debriscap 100 or 200 or off"?

I was killed at the end of Dunkerque by the debris from 3rd Fleet HQ.

(I was on the installation when it blew, looking for my bunny toy, too, BTW)
