The admins of this site decided to edit my name some time ago, adding the 'custom title' 'Biggest noob on HLP - And Proud of it'.  I cant change this. I'd have to delete this account and make a new one. I could do it easily, but that would be letting them have their fun and win.


I'm not a noob. They've made me the butt-end of their little joke and dont care for my feelings or reputation on this forum. I think its immature and misuse of their authority. It could happen to any of you. Does anyone here at all recall me ever making a 'noob' thread? I've never made a thread about 'FS3' , or any noobish things like that. I've done nothing to deserve this. How would you feel if they did it to you?

Please help me appeal this - tell them that you think what they've done to me is unfair.

Doesnt matter if its been there for a while or not. Its whether or not you'd want it an admin to put it on your name.

It was taken to PM's. Nothing was done. Now im hoping the HLP community can help me by 'petitioning' against this, since ive done nothing to deserve it, and the fact that they could do it to any of you, clearly for no apparent reason.

Come on people, 'He Who Is Worse Than Cobra' does not get a capitalized first letter since it's not a proper noun. The correct notation is taka or taka****.

Sometimes I don't know if people here actually know their grammar rules (or spelling for that matter, since when is it 'takashi'?)

Don't you think its time you put that to rest and got rid of the title? Besides i wasnt spamming threads. I honestly thought all those threads had decent meaning to them.

Should Vasudan Commander wish his custom title removed, then it should be removed. Contact admins to get it done. Why the hell are you complaining here in General Freespace anyway?

This should have been handled by PM. At the very least this thread belongs to Forum Support, as I understand that board is there for a reason.

Exactly. If you want to whinge, do it in the proper forum. I doubt it'll do much though - custom titles have always been the domain of the admins and almost never given based on what the individual in question actually wants.

You only have yourself to blame. I think I vaguely remember what you got that for, some thread that was obviously intended to be spam before it was locked (may have been about FS3, can't remember). In addition to the sheer quantity of your other threads, that was probably crossing the line.

That being said, it was some time ago and I would be in favor of removing it, although I don't make those decisions.

I remember I had some 1337 custom title (quite literally) for like two days, then it got changed to it's present form. But seeing other people titles, I am quite proud of it.

and if the admins thought VC was being n00by or something, they should at least give him a warning or even specifically tell him why they did it.
