I'm starting a new Campaign

The Title says it all. I've got a great idea for a Campaign. It name is: Exploration of Capella
This is whenever they knew how to make, close, and open Knossos's portals.

It is 2467. One century after the terrible Shivan fleet made Capella go supernova. The GTVA has finally decided to go into the Capella system after is has been decimated. They have been working on this project for 20 years now. They finished the portal and went into the Capella system only to EVERYTHING had been destroyed, and now they were in a nebula. They start to explore it...
(Now I need some help with this part AND building the Campaign)
Post if you have any ideas and/or you want to help build the Campaign.

Uh...

Cody, the idea for this campaign sounds decent enough, but I'm skeptical as to how good you actually are using FRED. You're better off doing FRED Academy missions, and then maybe helping out an existing project. Not the route I took, I did FRED Academy then started my own campaign, but I was stubborn, so...

Trust me, if you want to make a campaign, you're gong to have to get your hands dirty.... big time.

Even people wiht sucesfull mods/campaigns have trouble getting a dedicated team, let alone somone who has no standing in the community.

Learn how to FRED, use models from other people....help a few otehr campaign, learn a bit...Then you can start working on the campaign and MABY get some real help.

I got a s***load of model behind me, I helped a dozen projects and finished one of my own..and I still got only 1 person helping me with my next project.. I dont' want to discourage you, but if you REALLY want to make a cmapign, you got to realize that you'll have to be doing most of the work...

I hope you know what your getting into.

But nonetheless, good luck. I can't help because of my own project. But that might not be a problem if I can't get any modelers.

All good sugessions. I knew I was going to do the work. I'm working on another campaign named Fs2 Online But is not going very good considering I'm the only person working on it.  :mad:

... You know, the campaign i'm doing actually does cross over into Capella. Only in my campaign ....... something else happens. No spoilers from me!

Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.

before you get into the campaign, you should at least familiarize yourself with FRED academy. Then your going to need a hell of alot of motivation to even start it.
Fun while it lasted.

Then bitter.

No offense to photoncody, but usually when someone announces they're making a campaign, they've already assembled a team, even if its a small one, and have some pics to prove they've made an effort to kickstart it. Some mod teams dont even show their work until they're almost finished.......  ;7

But i wish you all luck buddy. I'd help but i'm currently tied up with work and helping out another team on a mod.
