for proper landings, the only thing i can think of is a 'hangar mode' with roll disabled, ship being forced to match the velocity of the bigger ship, and extremely lowered speeds.

Does the hangar scale fit/could dock with the corellian corvett class ? (refering to Episode 4 when the Tantive 4 were docked to one of the ISD).

the Interdictor's hangar bay can hold 2 squads of TIEs and a couple of shuttles max.

the interdictor is a good 1000 meters shorter than the ISD, so I don't think a corvette would fit.

that's an Imperial Star Destroyer

the Immobilizer-418 Interdictor Cruiser is 600 meters long, and does not have a hangar bay big enough to fit a corvette in.

Interdicter Cruisers look a heck of a lot like modded ISDs... or is it the other way around?  Or are they both modded off of another type of ship?

I think all Imperial capital ships share the same triangle design. I guess it just works for them. I have no idea which came first, though.

the Interdictor is a modded version of the Vindicator cruiser, which is a 600 meter long triangular warship
the Imperator Star Destroyer is a 1600 meter long triangular warship, not based on the Vindicator at all.

the difference in the lengths of these 2 ships is 1 kilometer.  thats a big difference, especially when comparing hangar space.


and i think the Vindicator is an older design.

About your screen, Have you modified the FOV ? Because when I was converting Warlords model with correct size for each ships, I had the impression that the ISD was still a little to tiny compare to the ISD in X Wing Alliance and Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Or perhaps, my X wing went too fast :/

I don't know if you had downloaded the Star Wars Warlords conversion for Freespace SCP ^^ and try some of those missions. If chief1983 has sent the link to the mods ^^.

the ISD will be big enough to have a corvette in its hangar bay. all of the sizes and speeds will be painfully accurate, so dont worry about that.  the only warlords stuff i have is the old models (dreadnaught and i think the neb B are warlords models). we are using those as placeholders until we can replace them all with original models.

also, i'm not the ISD guy, that's brand-x so ISD related questions are technically his.
