Graphics reverting to normal fs2
I've just installed the SCP using turey's installer, and well, everything worked fine.

I played through the training missions and the 53rd hammerheads and then quit game, opened up the launcher and loaded up the fs port mod.  I probably shouldnt have, but i loaded it using the same callsign.  after playing through a couple missions, i decided to screw fs1 and play fs2 scp first (fs2 graphics on fs1 look nice, but they nothing compared to the scp of fs2, and well, i guess i got more interested in that for the moment).

Here is the problem.  When I reloaded fs2 scp, the graphics had reverted back to retail, even if i went in the features and reactivated everything, and ensured that mods were turned off...

I can't really re-install without deleting everything first, so before I do that, I'd like to know if theres any way I can fix this...

Would be better if I just fixed the launcher so it would parse mod.ini files from the root directory again like it used to.

I'll do that again at some point this week.

I'm not going to put a mediavps mod.ini in the root, as it breaks multi.

Why can't it just have mediavps selected by default, unless turned off somehow?  ie, you can still shut it off by selecting "don't use mediavps", but if you deselect fsport by hitting "no mod", it will automatically load mediavps... perhaps 3 buttons?  "Select Mod", "Default Mod", and "No Mod"?  IDK, what do you guys think?

Having a mod.ini in root that activated the media VPs would be almost the same as simply sticking the media VPs in root. Given that I was the main person responsible for getting everyone to go over to using a mediavps folder do you seriously think that's what I was suggesting? :p

If you check ShivanSPS' downloads you'll notice that they came with a mod.ini file in the root directory that explained that the game was running in "Classic Mode" without any SCP enhancements and that if you wanted the media VPs back you had to select the mediavps folder as your mod. It also set the website and forums button to something useful too.

The problem is that the mod.ini file in root is only used when you press the no mods button. If you press it then close the launcher it won't appear again until you press no mods again. I'm pretty sure it didn't used to behave like that before.

Cause that adds a complete unnecessary button to the launcher. Simply ship the launcher with a mod.ini as above and a launcher6.ini which has mediavps selected and you've got the same effect without having to add potentially confusing buttons (which are especially useless for total conversions).
