I was quite surprised to see the Hitman trailer:

It will be interesting to see what kind of reviews it will get. And it will come out quite soon, 12th of October.

Why is it always Ave Maria?

Because god forbids they try to do something original. Shame on you for even suggesting change!

 :D
Joke.

The guy who plays Hitman has nothing to do with the character and I'm afraid this will turn out to be simply another awfull movie.

So they took some guy, shaved his head, and made an action movie with him.

Maybe I'm just getting old, but the guy from the movie looks about 19, whereas the 'real' Hitman from the games looked more like his late 30's early 40's. The bald head really doesn't suit whoever that is in the slightest, he looks more like George Dawes than Agent 47.

Oh, you're not getting old, the age difference for itself is already a problem here. And I dont even want to know how they'll portray him in the movie, just seeing that the trailer calls him a hero! He's not a hero! He's a gun for hire. :wtf:

I always saw Agent47 as a sort of cross between Leon and Vin-Diesel, which is a rather odd combination in real life ;) You'd probably end up with someone with a Sensible Haircut.

I alway though that Vin Diesel would be the perfect actor to make 47.

To be honest, the first time I saw the Hitman cover, that was precisely who I thought they'd modelled him on :)

The actor David Bateson is the one who borrowed his looks for 47, he also does the 47's voice. It is a shame he didn't get the role.

The actor who plays 47 is Timothy Olyphant, he was the baddie in Die Hard 4 and played a role in The girl next door, seems to have a role also in Deadwood. Surprisingly, he is 39.

However I agree that he doesn't look like 47. I wonder what will be the violence rating of the movie. The trailer has some interesting game like scenes, like the filmatization in the end of the trailer where 47 is pulling the silenced gun.

Hopefully they don't make 47 a hero in this movie, I still don't know what to think of the text in the beginning, I thought it can also be read differently than implying 47 is a hero. Anyways, I will wait for the reviews before going to see it.
