Just got the new Civ IV expansion and ..dear god this is what all expansions should be. Add a ****load of content and not just be worthless money makers (I'm looking at you Battlefield expansions  ). The new civs and leaders are all great. The Byzantines, Holy Roman Empire and Ethiopians are my favourites so far.

So what are HLP's thoughts?

I agree!  Quite impressive!  Best expansion since Alien Crossfire!

And I am amazed that Firaxis went one better and included all the content from Warlords except scenarios -- thus all the civs, leaders, custom units and buildings.  As I was still on the fence about purchasing Warlords, this was a nice surprise.

I love the new espionage system.  So far I haven't done too much more than keep an eye on what the enemy is researching, but there's lots of potential.  The corporations are pretty cool too -- as if my cities weren't already big enough
