Where to get official Campaigns?
Hello,

I just ran across this whole website couple days ago and have been enjoying FS2 again after losing my freespace 1 and 2 disks several years ago, and figured I would give TBP a try.

Well I have downloaded the base 3.2, the 3.3 and 3.3a patches and was going through to download the official campaigns when both download links seem to be broken on the main web site. The Hard-light link gives a 403 Access Forbidden error and the other one is 404 File Not Found.

I tried searching on these forums for somewhere else to get them or to see if anyone had the same problem but didn't find anything. So here I am posting asking for help already lol.

Anyway I was just wondering if someone could point me to another download location for the 2 official campaigns I would greatly appreciate it.

Re: Where to get official Campaigns?
Yes there are a couple of extra campaigns included in my version of the installer but that definitely not all of campaigns available.

There more TBP campaigns to be found at:
http://hades-combine.com/
in the downloads section

I think about putting togther a campaign pack installer that would include all available campaigns but I was kinda hoping that maybe Drums of War 3 (0rph3u5 hinted at it in another thread) or The Earth Brakiri War campaigns might appear soon. However madaboutgames and his EB War seems to have drop of the radar as the links at his site are down (but you can still get his other campigns at hades combine). 0rph3u5 however still seem pretty active (and busy it appears) so I think will will see more campigns from him in the future.

I've toyed with the idea of trying my hand a creating a campaign (I use to make quite a few campaigns for flight sim called Fighter Squadron SDOE) but I don't know if I have the time and patience to take time to learn to FRED well and put out something up to par with the excellent campaigns I've played so far (namely the EM War Demo & the Raider Wars, great stuff I tell you!).

hades combine is down, you're better off perusing the TBP forum.

Raider Wars and EMWDemo are some of the best campaigns out there for all Freespace.

But, to be honest, I dont know if EMW would be so great if I didn't love the show. You really start to feel helpless and you REALLY FEEL the despair of the situation. Also, the voice-acting of both campaigns is great.
