It gets better I think - the demo leaves you with a lot of unsolved mysteries and turns still to discover. If you enjoy the gameplay then it's probably worth sticking at it!

Re: BioShock Demo now on LIVE
As for the game itself, I'm near the end. The beginning 10 minutes were pretty awesome, then it slowly got less awesome as the time went on - the biggest problem are the splicers. They're just so damn repetitive, they always pop up when you expect them to, or worse, when you don't - they'll wander around the level, and respawn in rooms you just cleared five minutes prior - this is a huge pain because it's nigh-impossible to not fight them and conserve ammo. Nomatter where you go, splicers will be there. However, about 3/4ths through the game starts getting really good again, and around the end it gets absolutely awesome.

It's definitely not a 10/10, I'd probably give it an 8/10. It still can be quite fun however.

I read this nice review.

On a side note, does this seem fishy to you?

My only complaint about BioShock is that, since I finished it, I haven't played it again since.

Edit: I added Spoilers just in case, although it's really very minor, I don't want to spoil the fun in any way. - Flipside

I'm replaying it just to get the bad ending (and get the last three achievements on x360), and doing it on easy instead of hard this time so i can just wrench things to death.  Haven't touched it since Halo3 and Orange Box came out though.

Re: BioShock Demo now on LIVE
Finished it. Loved it. I wouldn't exactly say the last fight was too easy, more like too short. I would've liked for it to be a long drawn out fight except that I was running out of first aid kits by the end, so I guess if they had made the enemy's attacks do less damage and the fight last longer it would have been just right.

Nevertheless, it was great, the first game in a long time to keep me up far later than is prudent, which I think is the mark of an excellent game.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the rootkit from the demo?
