Sol: A History setup questions
Help with Sol: A History

My question si simple:  I have the S:AH VP, the Inferno R1 VP (with the two patch VPs), but it says I need the "EA VP".  What campaign is this for, and/or where can I find it?  Also, how should they be as far as folders go in order to make it work with the "mod" feature?  If I put them all in the same folder, will it work?  Or could I/do I need to use a mod.ini file?
Could we with ink the ocean fill, and were the skies of parchment made
Were every stalk on earth a quill, and every man a scribe by trade
To write the love of God above, would drain the ocean dry
Nor could the scroll contain the whole, though stretched from sky to sky!

The EA VP is part of the Terran Ships VP, if I remember well. You can find everything in the Inferno site.

You also need Shadow's mod which makes S:AH compatible to the SCP(I think).

The optimal order should be:

S:AH(with Shadow's patch), INFR1 Patch(Shadow's), INFR1(SCP patch included), mediavps.

Re: Sol: A History setup questions
that's for the mod.ini?  Where does the EA VP fit in that? Is that included in R1?

If that mod.ini list doesn't work, just contact us.

All Earth Alliance ships are in Inferno R1.

Re: Sol: A History setup questions
I get the mainhall-2 or whatever file missing error.  I get one step farther than I did, at least, now that I added the fixed tables.  Now instead of crashing immediately, it waits till after I select my pilot.  The current mod.ini is like this:  Located in my SAH folder,

Primarylist=;

Secondarylist=mediavps,inferno,INFR1;

(this is from memory, I'm not at my own computer right now and won't be until after 9 PST tonight.

I read somewhere that I need to mention FSPort in the Secondary list.  Could that be it?

INFR1 should take precedence over the mediavps. And what do you have in that "inferno" folder? In case it contains Shadow's patch, it should take precedence over INFR1.

Do you have an SCP compatible version of S:AH?

Re: Sol: A History setup questions
yeah, INFR1 is Inferno with SCP patch. Inferno is the "unofficial" patch, I think it's shadow's.  As far as an SCP compatible version of S:AH, I got the most recent S:AH I could find from Hades Combine, then got the fixed tables from there also.  Is that considered, SCP-Compatible?

Edit: SAH found here and the tables found here.

Re: Sol: A History setup questions
I don't know. Shadow made an SCP compatible version. You can check the name of the author, it should be:

Blaise Russel(Campaign), Shadow0000(SCP compatability) or something like that.

I don't really know if HC hosted the new version, really.
