I'm no modeller, but I've done some pofs for my own amusement and they've worked fine. Nothing pretty, but good for a laugh. Thing is, I found an old pof that I had abandoned years ago and I picked it up again, only to find that neither does it show up in FRED, nor's the targetting box correctly placed. It does look good in ModelView, tho. I think there's something with the various parents and that. Don't worry about the lousy texturing, it's just a quick jury rig. Imma not chargin mah lazer, imma jus wunderin if sum pof guru might figur out wha's rong.
