WC Medium-heavy Skell

After spending some time derounding it, stupid me had used mesh smoothg, then collapsed it years ago.  Don't know where I got the name or what I modelled it after.  It's Privateer 2, and just maybe the Skecis.  I deleted all the original files so i have no idea when i originally built it... could be '04.

It's a two seater.


opps, forgot symetry on the second gun mount.

The cockpit looks disproportionately large... oh wait, you said it was a two-seater?

Well... I still think the cockpit looks a bit big, but other than that it looks fantastic. :yes:

The cockpit sitting lower than the ship looks good at an angle from the front, but proportionately to the rest of the ship, the cockpit is too big. I would recommend actually bringing it closer to the body of the ship and raising it. The lower than the rest of the ship thing looks cool, but the double-cockpit is, IMHO, too big for that...

The front looks smaller comparatively to the back, so maybe just make the entire back bigger...

Well i tried enlarging the back but that made things look worse, almost like a gunship.

how about a single seater? (sorta like a Sabre descendant)  Or....  and have the option to have a heavier two seat variant.


edit: I wish advanced light rendering would show the convex angles

You could try making the single seater a space superiority fighter, and a two seater strike variant that is able to carry a couple torpedoes/bombs, ya?

The two seat strike bomber was originally (ok my new original) idea for it, even with the name.  For a single seat variant, a heavy fighter I'm guessing.  I think I originally intended it to be a medium fighter, course it looked no wheres as good as it does now.

Maybe have the co-pilot sitting next to the pilot and have the cockpit look more like a Y-Wing's...

Any lower and he'll be bumping his head into it.....

However I'm not sure if I'll actually put the cockpit in or just use black glass windows and wait for the model cockpit feature to be added.
