So... yeah, I know Knight Rider was, er... cheesy, but I loved the show.

Intro to Season 1:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUplnn462uE

I will point out two things: A): KITT vs. KARR is one of the greatest episodes ever, and B): The 1982 Pontiac Trans-AM ****ING RULED!

Yeah, Cylon Cars rule. The only problem with KITT was that it never wanted to rule the world and kill humanity, but you can't get it all in one...
There are three things that last forever: Abort, Retry, Fail - and the greatest of these is Fail.

Apparently, David Hasselhof is talking about reviving the series, after the horrors of KR2000, I'm not certain whether to be pleased or not.

You do have to wonder if in these days of sat-nav and cars with computer-assisted...well everything, whether the idea of a talking car really will grab a new generation in quite the same way though.
Karajorma's Freespace FAQ. It's almost like asking me yourself.

Indeed, and the idea of adding new Gizmos to Kitt in order to make it more 'futuristic' to todays' viewers would probably just ruin things. Gull-Wing missile launchers sound good on paper, but look a bit dumb on film.

I was moving a Vauxhall Zafira in work today which had a shi4 talking securityy system;

"Hello! Such and such security system actived. Fasten safety belt" it said. Shi44ing them I am not.

....The 1982 Pontiac Trans-AM ****ING RULED!

No they didn't, though they did get better.. See: http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,49175.0.html
