Hi,

I've got a problem in the Transcend campaign.
When I hunt the transcendental in subspace and destroy the Kaya Kurges (??) ship, the screen goes black and FSO crashes. Does any1 know what is going on? It worked all well since now.
Or is the trasncendental wanting to crash my FS2?

Do you have the mediavps installed and are you using them properly?

And the Grammar Inquisition cometh. It's the Transcendant, not transcendental.

Yes, i do. I say that the trans..  .. err .. the T done the same thing before.

Right. There was one thread about a similar, if not even the same problem, but I lost it. Tried to search for it but it doesn't come up. The mediavp suggestion was there, but apparently that isn't the issue here. Then again, if I remember correctly, the person who had the problem back then, managed to suddenly get everything working without actually doing anything. Try to play it a few times. See if that helps.

Edit: Here we go. I remembered that I had posted to that thread too. See if anything there helps.

EDIT: Nothing changed. When i blow up the saya ship, it crashes when i kill the wingman in horus fighter 

Its a great campaign and i finished it with that 5-failures advance, but I'd just want to complete that mission..

THE PROBLEM CAN BE SOLVED THIS WAY:

DAMAGE THE SHIPS SO THEY HAVE LIKE 3, 2, HP LEFT. THEN HIDE BEHIND A CRUISER OR SOMETHING AND LET THEM RAM INTO IT. THEY ARE DESTROYED AND YOU CAN CONTINUE.
