HLP Donations Page has been reworked for supporting the site.
Please note that the previous "Tiers" are currently not operational (but will be worked on).
You can still cancel any previous re-occurring donations to make new ones which will go to the new Treasurer Admin (Zacam).

I usually try and go unnoticed as far as birthdays are concerned, but someone always notices that damn "Upcoming Birthdays" at the bottom of the page.  And now I feel extra cheesy, having fallen for the this thread topic and being unable to resist figuring out what I missed.

Oh well.  Maybe all of you will skip it by mistake next year. ;)

I feel the same way, taylor. But someone, and I can't recall who, Mobius, but I got a PM on my Bday. And, no way are you off the hook for next year. If Mobius sends me another message, I swear (by my pretty flower bonnet, firefly reference) that I will post a topic like this one...

I'm just as bad, I forgot to say thanks for the Birthday IM's I got earlier this month, but then, at 35, I don't usually feel like celebrating :(

IF YOU HAVE TROUBLES WITH FS2:
  • Please, please, please, READ and UNDERSTAND the sticky threads in FreeSpace & FreeSpace Open Support board.
    A lot of people are willing to help you, but, as anyone can understand, seeing the very same "issues" repeated again and again can become quite depressing. Please, spend a bit of time trying to solve the issue by yourself.
    (Lobo deserves a monument).
  • Then, if you aren't still able to solve your issue, feel free to ask for help in that same board.
    FYI, most of the troubles are caused by wrong mod installations which lead to either missing data or undesired cross-effects between them. Always follow the mod installation instructions and keep a clean FS2 installation as explained in the sticky threads. Two additional links about how the game handles game data:
  • If you think that you've discovered a bug, mantis it.
    Provide as much info as you can, and try to narrow it down. A lonely "FS2 doesn't work" is not a good report.
