What do you mean with "just for me". Ok I have to say that I liked the Epee...espacial in Standoff...for beeing the hit and run fighter you can also use as kind of a sniper ^_^

I agree that getting used to the Epee is one thing. The other as far as I remember is that you where flying the Epee after flying some heavy fighter. When you start and don't remember that the Epee isn't like any other fighter you where flying before you will end up dead.
When you start and adjust your flightstyle it can be a nice fighter. Still I also got mostly badly damaged when I got home.
If I had a choise I would also choose another fighter but I think it is that bad of a fighter...just special.
I ask myself how the Epee would handle in a dogfight during WC3 and in the FS engine.

Nice refit. The port on the underside looks a litte bit oversized IMO but still good. Maybe make the guns just bigger and everything is fine ^_^

I think I'm the only WC fan that I know of that truly enjoyed my time in the Epee.  When I got to it in WC2 I enjoyed every minute of it...it was fast, nimble, and it was a light fighter with twin particle cannons...how can you argue with that.  Definitely a fighter that required allot of finesse.  Being on the tail of a heavy fighter was always bad unless you we're always doing the afterburner slide...which I loved from the Rapier.

Welcome to the club of suicide pilots who like to fly a fighter that is made out of thin paper, normal paper but still like it.
I think the best argument for the Epee where the two particle canons that where so close together that every hit you made realy hurted your enemy.
I liked to fly the ship in a sniper style. Firing at max distance then turn away from the enemy fire just to fire again from another angle. Most other fighters wheren't able to keep up with the speed of you danceing around them.

Still now I prefere the Arrow. You have this nice slide option, good weapons and if you have realy bad company just fire a bunch of missiles. For a light fighter it has enough of these.

sorta like my chimera. its good for close in or long range, anything else and your toast. the chimera can go fast but it has some really piss poor acceleration. so if someone gets on your tail it takes a few seconds to get out of their firing range.

I seem to recall the Epee being rather less substantial (read: you made it too damn chunky, it looked light, graceful, and decidely fragile) and perhaps longer as well.

In fact Scooby you have a very bad habit of doing this sort of thing in my experience...
