Well so that this thread doesn't become pointless, let's speculate in this thread.
First thing, a GTVA - Ancient war is almost inevitable. The devices used by Dasmar supposedly called all Ancient splinter fleets back to GTVA space to reclaim the land. The Ancients' strange actions (attacking the GTVA forces without prompting) may have something to do with the transmission, or something that Dasmar told them about.
Second, the GTVI, SOC, a splinter of the GTVA, or the GTVA itself, was planning to do something with the Ancient devices (seen in the third mission). Whatever they were trying to do, they may try to complete their goal, whatever it is. A civil war may also occur, but considering we know nothing of what the mission 3 fighters' motives were, we don't really know.
The possibility of a civil war might also occur in a different way. Khonsu II's wanting to keep GTVA space enclosed may not be liked by the general people of the GTVA, but defended by some higher-up military leaders, and a difference in opinion may cause a civil war between Khonsu's loyalists (which could be either Terran or Vasudan) and the "expanders" (those who want to expand the GTVA borders, which also could be either Terran or Vasudan). The second and third points may be linked, and a war between the faction in the third mission and Khonsu's loyalist forces could occur depending on their motives.
Fourth, the return of the Shivans. The Shivans may have been fighting against the Ancients and hunting them down, hence their return to GTVA space may bring back the Shivans in hot pursuit. A great, big free-for-all war with the factions of Khonsu's loyalists, the "Expanders", the Shivans and the Ancients might also happen.
Lastly, it probably won't be called the Procyon Insurgency II, since it's got nothing to do with the PCA anymore, and only the consequences of the actions made by those high up in the PCA's chain of command are of any importance.
There are a lot of other possibilities of a second campaign, and I'm betting everybody has their own opinions, so let's hear 'em.
