It's a big friggin' bulls-eye painted camouflage and can prob take out a Sathanas in about two bombing runs...
(The above assuming this vessel to be an A-10 analog)...

Can you select different types of ammo?  Just have them be diff weapons, eg: GAU-8 HE, GAU-8 AP, etc... or w/e.  Good idea?

Great work, I always liked your models. I think that it needs a missile bank, the frame is too small to look capable of holding FS-era missiles. It'd be fine as a Perseus-esque fighter, but as a bomber it needs more storage room. Unless it's huge.

Oh, and, why is the teaser a pic of the Megaera?

Ok, I get it. If It's supposed to be like the A-10, it's mainly a gun platform. Meaning that you would use it to make short work of Freighters transports and even cruisers, but it would be less effective against larger ships, except maybe to take out subsystems.

I might have to check my scaling but it's pretty bug - medusa sized.

It's got the Reaper cannon, 4 other primaries and 2 large missile banks (roughly equal to medusa capacity).

It's not a Sath killer (that's what the Armageddon is for ), but it's also effective against destroyers.

That said, missles in FS are really to friggin huge so I simply ignore that.

ATM I still got to make debris for it and LOD level 3 and then it will be complete.

That's hte bottom view of the Galaxy with all the grebels and internal fighterbays and thingies. It's fully done but I'll have to re-convert it as the colission detection went completely fubar

Wrong. Take a look at the following image and tell me that the A-10 analog shouldn't be able to hold "FS-era missiles"...

Wrong. The A-10 is primarily a bomber. However, it is unique in that its armor is sturdy enough to take multiple hits without critical systems damage, and its design is solid enough to allow flight without a wing and aileron. No other aircraft in the United States Air Force can take such punishment. Granted, it is skinny-looking, but it is more than capable of delivering its ordinance. I would hope that TrashMan gives this A-10 analog extremely sturdy hull integrity and more than enough firepower (the A-10 has a chin-mounted GAU-8 Avenger for cryin' out loud!).

However it might take a while..I'm having touble getting my new Rig to work properly. Yeah, it's powerfull as hell and I love Crysis in full details, but I cna't get the internet connection working for some reason (posting this from the old PC).
