Hello,

I've been lurking here for quite some time and figured it was time for me to finally join the community. This is my first completed Freespace 2 based fanfic. It was based around a campaign I had intended on making in Fred but I lost interest in the mission making and wanted to make it more about the characters. This was all way before I discovered FS2SCP.

After Capella, the GTVA struggles to rebuild. However, something sinister is brewing in Alpha Centauri. Can the struggling GTVA muster the will power to tackle this new threat that is only a ghost.

Admitingly that first mission did take some (if not of inspiration off the FRED training mission, but subsequent chapters do feature more in originality.

I was creating a campaign out of this a while ago, but I've put it on hiatus until INFASA is released. The last mission is a masterpiece IMO...

Oh, BTW, what happened to Reunification?

I was making a campaign based on the fanfic. And FreeSpace: Reunification is the sequel to this fanfic.

Reunifaction Cole, is the sequel to Devastation. The only problem being is that my imagination has taken a downturn on that story. I do still hope to finish it at one point, I'm currently readdicted to Freespace 2, so its bound to happen again.

Pleased to meet you once again Snail. The only worry I have is trying to make the last mission actually work... and someone would have to model the destroyer ships... cause unfortunately, that's not my strength. I'd love to actually cooperate on building the campaign Snail, so feel free to contact me about it.
