i was looking around wookiepedia, and i saw this:

Looks more like the Hades than the Deimos. And even then it's only a passing resemblance.

The mid section looks Argo-ish, rear reminds me somewhat of a Hecate with the twin engine pods on the sides, and the front, yeah, definitely Hades... can't see even a remote resemblence to a Deimos though.

[Edit] Looks like the Deimos reference was added by an anonymous user with the IP address 70.17.203.153 on 7th January, 2007, and is the only contribution by that user.

----go ask on their forum, it's from  EAW Corruption expansion. Maybe you can ask the Dev's if FS2 was an inspiration for that or any other model.
