i found a pda at the local state surplus for like 10 bucks. it was an compaq ipaq 3670. since i always wanted one to mess around with i dropped the cash on it. the battery was dead so i bought one off ebay, which i just installed and the device works like new. i also upgraded it to pocket pc 2002. the unit came with an attachable battery pack / pc card bay. one of the bays had a cf card adapter in it as well, into which i installed my old camera cf card (which contained ppc versions of doom, quake, elite, and descent). there was also a second slot. when i bought it i thought it would be possible to use my linksys wifi card in it. but it seems incompatible.
anyway anyone know how to either get this card to work, or know of a bluetooth or wifi card that will work with it? there are ndis drivers for other network devices that were installed when i bought this thing, and my wifi card comes with ndis drivers (which work on linux as well). though there appears to be no way to install them. if anyone knows any usefull ppc hacks to get this to work that would be really cool. id like to be able to run a winamp remote with this thing as well as access public hotspots.
