hello i'm sure this has been asked before, but here it goes.   is there a timeline for all these user/team made campaigns?   i mean i just finished cardinal spear and it's evident that it takes place like 3-4 years before the great war[freespace1 or port].  i got to wondering this after completing cardinal spear then starting FS1/port and during the briefing of the first mission they spoke of the Ross 128 incident where  the shivans were first sighted [i think].  is there a complete campaign on the ross 128 affair.  i found "Awakening the Dragon" but could not find a link to the complete version.   is there another?  any replies are greatly appreciated thanx!

hey man thanx .  that's a very useful thread and it pretty much answered that question.  i noticed that the last post on that thread was like in 2005.   i wonder why it quit getting updated with the newer campaigns.  owell that's plenty to keep me ocuupied for awhile.   i still can't find any Ross 128 missions they mention in that thread.  the only thing ive found close is the "awakening the dragon" demo  link.  i think it pertains to what im' looking for[ross128campaign/mission].  hahaha  i want to see the first shivan encounter with the terrans.  anyways,  thanks a lot again.

Well, there's always Goober's Ross 128 mission. Note that it's a mission. Once installed, it can't be found from the Campaign room. You have to use the mission simulator to play it.

that's it.  thanks lobo and night  manager  guy.  that is what i wanted.   i'm d/ling the ross128 missions and some of the useful stuff i saw on your links lobo for fsport and a few others right now that  i'm assuming the turley installer didin't install.
well, from the timeline and checking out numerous other threads, i gather that cardinal spear is the only mission that's before the great war [FS1] other than the ongoing[i think] project "the Terran/Vausudan War".  if that's so, i should be right on the timeline schedule hahaha.

o yeah do you guys know if "Awakening the Dragon"  is a more in depth campaign of the ross128 incident and if so,  are they going to complete it?   thanks again!
