The Assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford
Good ****in' movie. It's one of those rare Brad Pitt movies where he actually acts proper instead of just standing there collecting his paycheck.

The real surprise was Casey Affleck for me though, in this movie and in Gone Baby Gone, he delivers the goods as far as acting performances go, which is very strange considering how much his brother is inept at delivering a serious role.

At any rate, a neat little piece of history to see from Robert Ford's angle (be it true or fiction). Casey deserves that Oscar nomination.

Anyone else seen it/has opinions on the subject?

Matt Cale was all over this one in joy.

Best film of 2007.

If you answered, “Wake up and face reality,” you don’t remember what it was like being a young man. You just go to the next entry in the catalogue of lies you can use to destroy your life." - John Dolan

There was no hype over it either - which is unusual.  I guess I'll have to rent it.
