Yea I know, it took me a very long time, but I had too much going on in my personal life to even worry about it. I am not building it myself because I don't have the time or patience to do it myself at this point. I bought a Velocity Micro Gamers Edge pc. I went with them due to they had some really good reviews for customer service and reliability, and no OEM parts. With the exception of the case all of the components are retail. It will be here this friday. And now for the specs.

Feel free to laugh at this one, 56k modem. Still only two to three miles away from cable line with no expansion date in sight.
As for not going with a quad core, from what I have read, it looks like the better performac will still come from a faster dual core for now. I will switch it out later when some of the newer, lower priced quads come out and is more needed. My only real beef with this is the case. I had the choice of the VM GX2 or LX. The are not the best looking cases but I have seen much worse. But I guess looks don't really matter if the case is reliable and sturdy. The cases are made but Lian Li which seems to be pretty popular. Anyway I chose The GX2 without the side window as I did not add case lights. It does not look as nice as the LX and it has one less floppy bay and 5.25 bay. It does have a couple of things going for it though. It does not have the annoying case door the LX has. It also has two front 120mm intake fans, the LX has one. If it runs good when it gets here, I think I will be happy.
