Got back to uk thursday, to find a letter saying my bupa payed off and i've an appointment at harley street wednesday. I have to cancel japan but i may have a fighting chance. Been on the town since 13:00 celebrating and watched AVP2 off my head. What is that all about?

Hope so, i passed out from pain last week on a ski slope but made one of the best rolls ever i'm told. I'm being weaned off of diazapene at the mo too for my livers sake. {the amount of booze i've drunk this year pm far would have downed most armies} so i'm being good in that respect too. I'll know if i'll live or die by friday. Sounds dramatic but it's that simple. Go me!

Lol i'm no superman i just take it as it comes and sod whatever crap life throws at ya. As in my lemonade quote. If it goes pete tong what more can in wrong? I won't be around to worry, optimism is both great and somewhat numbing at the same time. If i hobble off this mortal coil at least i won't have to tolerate this god awful james bond film that i've heard about *yuk* kudos for the moral support HLP.

If you live, then hooray! Seeing superior DNA being snuffed out is always sad.

If you know you're going to die from this, then at the very least you would know WHEN you die, unlike most people. You could therefore take advantage of capitalism in your last days.

This is as much detail i'll go into. I find out early next week if i'm eligible for a surgical procedure. If so a good 4 weeks of waiting to have it. If not then triple that and i'm off to meet bosch and wolfe. Just wanted to say that facing my mortality has yet again hit me so i countered it by re-reading the original DS thread in classics and have lolled myself so much i fear you knocked a month off my clock. Worth it though. There were some absolutely classic quotes waiting to be resurrected there.
