So... animated Windows startup screens?
I've gotten this crazy idea to put the GTA logo on my Windows XP start up screen, with the light moving across the logo like it does in the CBanim. Is it possible, and if so, how the hell do I make it like that? :P

I wept. Mysterious forces beyond my ken had reached into my beautiful mission and energized its pilots with inhuman bomb-firing abilities. I could only imagine the GTVA warriors giving a mighty KIAAIIIIIII shout as they worked their triggers, their biceps bulging with sinew after years of Ivan Drago-esque steroid therapy and weight training. - General Battuta

Try Bootskins by Stardock, can't find the link now, but I got a bootskin and profile logon screen from them somewhere!

*EDIT* Found it! *EDIT*

You'll also need this!

Re: So... animated Windows startup screens?
OK, until I can figure out how to screw up my computer's boot process, I'm thinking about doing an XP theme based off of FS1's menu.

Problem is, every screenshot I take turns out badly and you can't see anything at all. Anyone want to be a sport and help me out here?

Re: So... animated Windows startup screens?
I think this is kind of similair to my Cb amin -> screensaver thread a few years ago
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside
