Does anyone know a good place to find ships? hades is ok, but its mostly *crappy* looking things made for retail. I really need shivan, have a slightly lesser need for vasudans, and a high need for terran.
and btw, about a year ago, when i first got here, someone made this awesome scout craft, the GTF Tigris. it looked sorta like a SW B-wing. anyone know what happened to it or it's big brother?

meh... not much of a selection, is it? and a good bit are ancient ships.

One of the better places to find ships, I've found, is in campaign releases. (Unfortunately, as Trashman pointed out, people tend to hoard them for campaign use and not release them until they absolutely have to.)

I do have a couple which Fulgrymm did and I never released publicly, but that's because I think they could use some work done.

Strattcomm's Fleetpack contains a number of high-quality Terran ships (they were used in Blue Planet, if you're interested), although I think Darius upgraded the textures for that campaign.

Inferno's probably the best place to look for Shivan designs, though they are a bit outdated.

If you want my advice, you'd best use those "crappy looking things made for retail" and upgrade the textures so they look prettier. I don't believe retexuring is all that difficult a process.

I'm good at modifying pics (remember when i took that tiger football team logo from some high school in texas, and modified it so that it looked almost real?) but not making them.
