Seriously, is anyone else reminded of John Goodman's character from The Big Lebowski? Every time there's a knock at my door, there's a little part of me that starts planning out what I would do to save myself if I looked through the peephole and it was John McCain.

Yes, frankly. Maybe I wasn't paying as much attention as everyone else, but I wasn't really aware that he's bat**** insane until just a little while ago.

I'm thinking about which western european country I would apply for citizenship if McCain gets elected president......

I haven't heard that, but then again I'm kinda out of the loop. I have heard, however, that John McCain is not running for president anywhere in Europe.

I'll piss myself laughing if Castro outlives McCain now. :D

He's already outlived 6 of the presidents who tried to have him killed though so I'm sure he's already laughing.

Heh, he might well at that. Whether one likes Castro or not, one has to give the man credit for sheer stubborn and bloodyminded-ness. How many leaders of state will, after they fall and break their arm and knee during a speech, stagger back up and apologize to the people for the interruption? That's class, regardless of what the man stands for.

I agree with Obamas way of dealing with Castro and Cuba. He wants to meet the new leader unconditionally and start having some dipomatic relations with the country. And start having talks about human rights, free spech and so on. Ignoring Cuba for so long is not so smart.

you know, hes only going to win if we get ms Clinton gets the democratic nomination because shes about as bad as a republican and is a hateful person to boot

(and if we elect her it will be like Bill Clinton all over again, did anyone realize that she had him by the balls the entire time?)

Even when they are trying to kill him? Even when some of them died at an earlier age? Even when one of them was actually assassinated himself? You sir, need to work on your irony.

More to the point though an 81 year old seeing a 71 year old die first isn't exactly that unlikely.
