Its not that I can't figure out windows, its just not worth the effort for my purposes. Mac OS X is just so much easier to use (and it looks better). I use word when I have to though it does run rather slow on a mac. As I said before, I didn't buy a mac because i wanted to game on it. Anyway, PCs are prone to crashes, bugs, viruses, and being thrown out the window. I would only ever have a windows machine as a secondary computer.
One, I hate the cliche argument against PC, "It is prone to crashes, bugs, viruses...etc." Seriously, get your own material. Viruses are written for PCs because they are the mainstream computer. Last time I checked, 95% of computers sold were PCs. Granted, it is a little harder to write a virus for a Mac, but if Macs were mainstream viruses would be written for them, with a few for PC. Despite popular dissent, Windows is a fairly stable operating system (ME excluded, everyone agrees that was a colossal flop) its merely that it offers itself the capability to modify the OS, change settings, etc. so much that people screw up the Operating System themselves. There's a saying in IT, if you don't know what a feature does, don't mess with it. Macintosh is the direct opposite. Sure, it's shiny out of the box, but you can't modify it. We have a Mac at school running on an Intel chip (not Windows affiliated, that's IBM) and the update for it STILL hasn't come out for the program we record the monthly radio show on. We had to re-record ten minutes of the show due to the program randomly dropping off audio. WTF? Still sure that Mac is more stable than PC? On a final note, Windows Vista looks AMAZINGLY shiny using Aero. IMHO, it looks far better than any of the Mac OS X offshoots.
