Freelancer's "dynamic missions" are what bugged me the most. You didn't want to deviate from the crappy story because everything else was sin-boring. You either had A) kill one person, B) kill a bunch of people, or C) grab some cargo and drop it off, which ended up with you killing a bunch of people. Plus it was crazy easy for anyone who actually knows how to fly a space sim.

starlancer was the one with the slow moving torping battleships wasnt it, and there were like 5 or 6 capitals TOTAL in the game

Slightly more,:) but they all had character - even the uglies. When the victorious went up. Man i was choked. the explodes in freelancer were dry poop by comparison.
