I saw that someone was doing the original WC ships as seen in-game/manual. The Raptor, of course, was among the ships done.

Last I remember of the Claw Marks Raptor all that was done of it was the model, and I was told to convert it, texture it, and code it myself.
And I don't have the capability to do any of them.
Plus at this rate Scooby would have it done and out sooner.

That Raptor was quite sexeh, I must say. I'd like to think that WCS will get the complete complement of all WC ships...

Actually I'm not sure if you are speaking of the same Raptor I saw, could you link it?

In addition, I'm still thinking about the new Excalibur Mk. II, a post Prophecy campaign should be made using some of these ships.

Are you going to make Panther or Tigershark?
I think that they were quite fun to fly in WCP.

Zane: This is the Raptor I was talking about. There was a still image attached to a post a while back, but it basically looks very true to the blueprint Raptor.

I've wondered why the Excalibur tail things are shorter, stopping half-way down the engines rather than going past them, I'm sort of curious about having four nozzles as well.

Hate to say it, but that's one of the worst interpretations of the Raptor I've ever seen. I'm thankful that won't be used...

Oh crude... i forgot the Devastator.... I've got one nearly ready to go.... wonder where i put it. 
edit: Found it.... I do need to do some more advancement on it.
I haven't done either the panther, tigershark nor wasp yet.  I will eventually get to them  (i've already got the pirahna and shrike)

Mine?  I'm thinking of redoing that one and renaming it.  That way I can work on Lar's raptor as a real Raptor. The whole model is very very old.

Heheh replace some of the hellcats in the war with these... The kats think they go in for an easy kill and watch them get slapped all over the place

Sabre is going to be featured with WCS, so I doubt that Scooby can release any models of it.
It's most likely done by now.

That's a different sabre just as this is a different Excalibur

Exactly, has that Sabre gone anywhere since then or is it lying dormant? So far I've liked the current progress of your Mk. II ships.
Will the Rapier also get this sort of makeover?

It's temporarily dormant.  It's sitting in the "Retexture" folder like everything that will need to be upgraded and repainted (it just needs to be painted I think).  When I get to the S's.

The rapier will definitely be getting an overhaul (i think that was one of my first models).  There will also be a much smaller light version of it (around the size of an dagger, epee, arrow) that i haven't given a name to yet.
