I think it is straight from Priv2, that game had a quite good graphics engine.

It's been a long time since I seen Priv II.
Perhaps it's also the resolution, my father played Priv II on (I think) 640-480 resolution (that was looong ago, it was acutally quite decent computer for it's time).
It also has similar (though a bit lower, and it's grayscale) quality in the manual.

It looks good, but I think that previous textures looked more "stealthy".

Not sure.. haven't really looked at it much.  HOWEVER, I am finally building something new, something based on the Salvia cruiser.
