Does anyone have custom made shivan ships? They are rarer then gold atm, seems like the only 'new' shivan ships are those in Inf and the Lamia cruiser as well as the Vindhyachal bomber.
I remember there was a carrier on HC but thats now lost, anyone have the carrier or other new shivan ships that people can use?

Most Inferno ones are crap IMO, but there are a couple of good ones, like the Shaimak (not featured in the main campaign), which was probably what was on Hades.  Other than that not much ... Nuke's Dante is pretty good, as well as that shivan fighter that is also in Nukemod.  There were also a couple of others in the 158th test data.

Yeah, the only ones I found were the SJ Dante (but its a little on the huge side), SC Lamia, and a few INF ones. I found the good INF ones were the SC Abel, SCv Scylla (both called Scylla in pof's lol), and the worm thing (SCa Shaimak?). The SJ Amritaya and the SD Kismat are alright too (though they're slightly weird looking in a bad way). All of these are in the INF_Enemies pack.

I'm still looking for others, though they seem to be nonexistent

Abel and Scylla were pretty bad IMO, but that's just me.  And yes, the Shiamak is the worm thing.

Why hasnt people not made more shivan ships? I would have thought they would be popular to make

i hate the INF shivan ships.  They had all those wierd tentacles.
But yeah, probobly the best way to find new shivan ships is get every mod you can find, and dig through them to find some new shivan ships.

i should probibly update the succubus, its polycount is a bit low and its textures are awful. but its all shiney and such and it sorta hides the ****ty ms paint glowmap.

Well, your SJ Dante is pure win. Did you ever consider making smaller ships in the same-ish style?

I've basically went through the campaign list on FSWiki and checked everything that may have Shivan things... I didn't find any.

Although...there was that spiny proto-gigas on a thread somewhere. That one was pretty cool. Doesn't look like it'll be released any time soon though. The new INF stuff looks good too, but same thing applies...not anytime soon.

maybe, i wanted to do more vasudan stuff too. but im better with shivans.

i should probibly finish the ships currently on my plate though. the htl vulture will be pure awesome, the htl seker is already cool, just needs some more maps. im sorta considering a revamp of the rumrunner to complete the pirate fleet. then i can tend to the older ships in need of upgrades (in the usual order from ugly to semi good looking).

then again my focus has shifted twards scripting/programing. so it shall be some time before i get back to gfx work.
