I am having a big problem, everytime a big explosion happens the games crashes and i can´t play because of this. Small ships explosions runs perfectly, but not big ones. I have tried a lot of different video configurations but none of them worked. What can i do to solve this?

are you using adv_affects.vp? and are you runing under direct 3D?

I don´t know about adv_affects.vp, how can i enable/unable it?
OpenGL doesnt work, only Direct3D.

Ok, well before we even need that information, i think the problem is with direct3D. because it's known to be very flawed with FSO.

How is OpenGL broken?

When using OpenGL, game crashes some seconds after mission starts, and also crashes at that Tech Room after choosing some specific ships

Edit: It says there is a problem in dll ialmgicd.dll

What is your graphics card? Graphics card driver?

I have a comp. with that chipset. Believe me when I tell you that if you want to play any 3D games, you should get a graphics card. I think you're probably limited to PCI?
