i only had to play winger for one game this time!

i love playing forward, but it seems for my team i'm most effective on the halfback flank or back pocket.  if we were capable of advancing cleanly to the forward lines, i would be an outstanding target, but we're not that good .  (and we have a couple of old farts we have to stick there so they won't be liabilities elsewhere )

i saw only the BSG miniseries.  i watched the first episode (i think) of firefly and was bored to tears.

First episode is awful, keep watching. It's a classic for a reason. Hilarious and moving.

maybe eventually.  i've got enough stuff to watch to keep me busy for a while.  stanley cup takes precedence right now, world cup shortly.  AGT makes me want to punch something when they pass blind people throwing flaming knives and annoying kids who are quite crap at their "talent", but i'm compelled to watch anway.  and there's the always hilarious Wipeout.  (US version.  i saw the british one on youtube and your commentator is the most boring individual alive)

I've recorded the MIDIs from Descent on XMPlay using custom soundfonts. I'm now importing them into iTunes.

I've imported my MIDI-to-MP3 Descent music to iTunes. While looking for the individual track names via Google, I came across a file storage system that not only contained the Gravis Ultrasound version of all twenty-seven Descent MIDIs, but also the entire Duke Nukem II game music ripped in CD quality (44 100 kHz), as well as the Doom soundtrack from a console called 3DO.

And then, while finding the cover art for the Mac version of Descent, I came across www.descent4.org, which contains an absurdly huge amount of information pertaining to Descent 3. I can only assume that this website, powered by Google, was set up by one of the developers of the game, or maybe even Matt Toschlog himself. The information on Descent 3 there makes the information on Wikipedia look like a summary.
