That's impressive, for a while there when I was on site for a client near South Station I had to deal with that a lot. The funny part is I think they were all going to the same place for their story since they all apparently "took a trip up here from New York for a job that fell through and now they had to get back else they'd get in trouble with their parole officer unless you gave them money for a train ticket."

Eventually I learned to cock my head quizzically and demand "Spreken zie deutsch?"

The much more clever hustle was to actually dress up well to do and act like visiting business person that had accidentally left their wallet/id/money in a cab a needed to borrow some money while they got their situation back in order.

To clarify, it wasn't for myself. I ARE TEH CANVASSER LORD

Today I collected $350. If I hypothetically continued to make money at this rate, given this office's percent commission, I would take home about $34,000 a year.

I've just finished a practice run for next weeks MGB competition with 33 Engineer regiment.

Look here for a vague idea of what it involves. My guys are a little bit sharper on the uptake.
