Today during my 4 hour lunch break at college, I bought "Origin:Spirits of the Past" for £3.



I just watched it.


If you hit it and it bleeds, you can kill it. If you hit it and it doesn't bleed...You are obviously not hitting hard enough.

Woohoo! I got rolling physics working in my game engine!

Except that friction doesn't affect objects that are spinning on an axis normal to the ground (unless maybe if it's on a hill?), so objects can spin like a top indefinitely.

Lunch used to be an hour and a half, but the college made a bunch of tutors redundant and one of them did the class that was supposed to fill an hour and a half of the time. And another hour was freed up when I got told that I was up to date with all my work, so I didn't have to stay to the end of first lesson.

Which can mean two things:
1) One can never apply too much duct tape
2) The duct tape is always higher then the supply.

Had them removed yesterday. Freezing was SUPPOSED to last five, six hours (not to mention bleeding wasn't supposed to have lasted the rest of the day. Gauze, more gauze... oh and some more gauze)
They lasted ten before I could my tongue
Once I could, I popped the largest pill I've ever popped in my life, along with a T3
Sleep? Oh sure, managed for an hour at a time, then two hours awake, then sleep for an hour, then awake for two hours

JUST when I was about to get a nice nap till my alarm, father walks in seeing if I'm okay
**** I WAS UNTIL YOU WOKE ME UP

On the bright side, no pain, just soreness and throbbing
And liquids. Lots of liquids
And more large pills
No T3s. Don't need them

I'm going to dislike this next week

My removal several years ago went pretty well.  I was stoned out of my mind for a day or so from the sedation and happy pills, but I had only minor bleeding and not much pain.  The real trick is using bags of frozen veggies (peas are ideal) to hold on your cheeks; really helps prevent swelling.
