deathfun, a recent recipe I had eaten called for more than copious amounts of "butter." Since I wasn't the one who prepared it, I couldn't say for sure... but I know for a fact that after the second bowl my heart was crying for me to stop there for the day.

We worked on a Kendo Flow Drill tonight, got a ways to go before we get here but on the way.  Then we rumbled down to an Irish Pub, I had NE Clam Chowder in a bread bowl, a Reuben with a side of laughter and great company.

Heh, my younger brother just sprained his toe doing the same last week.  He was only laid up for a couple of days, though, so you definitely got the worse deal.

I just wasted an hour arguing about physics with my dad (Ph.D. in physics)...

One of the steps of my argument was that if I applied a force F at a point offset from the CoM by a radius r, then the linear acceleration would be F/m, and the angular acceleration would be I^-1(F × r). Definition.

The thing that was "wrong" was that in the big picture, the force F I was applying was not correct for the circumstances. But he wasted an hour of my time because he kept disagreeing with a = F/m and α = I^-1(F × r)
