I've been playing Mount and Blade. I'm trying to increase my Charisma quality so I can further increase my Leadership skill. I just captured a rival king in a battle, after drawing ol' Ragnar himself away from the castle he was besieging, as well as away from the three other fiefs with big armies. I was lucky since Ragnar's army was really hurt--down to 1/3 the regular size, and carrying tonnes of prisoners. So I attack him when it was like 70v50 in his favor, won (thanks to a load of good guys on horses), and was lucky enough to capture him. The next problem was finding out where my own king was, so I could sell the poor bastard for gold. I eventually found my king and got like 5,100 gold for Ragnar. I still am trying to get rid of another fief of his--but I don't know which warlord will pay for his body.

I found FreePlay Music and downloaded a few of their pieces of music yesterday. I also tried out Dilmah's High Noon mod, which completely ruined the mission for unknown reasons.

I just came back home from escorting my older sister around a reservoir while she recorded the sounds of nature.

What do you mean? Unless of course you're referring to the fact after the first 30 seconds (If you know how to do it, you can take out the first cannon in the first pass and beta wing will take out the second cannon pretty fast as well), the player has nothing at all to do other than rearm and attempt to try and pwn the Sath which is an exercise in futility because I loaded the mission with so many ships the Colossus is barely even neccessary.

And the fact that the version on fsmods has both the Sath and the Colly lacking waypoints and neither do any of the other capships. I'm currently working on that, I've given the Colly a waypoint set in which it heads across the Sath's path and brings its broadside cannons to bear on the Sath. I've given the Infinity and the corvette that jumps in with it a waypoint set as well, and I'm planning to do the other ships as well. And then there's gripes about the soundtrack, which is really only there because I'm a fan of electro-rock. I'm working on balance, maybe the Colly should start closer to the Sath or the Sath has more beam cannons left, so the player actually has some kind of 'work' to do. I've got an additional wing of Astaroths as well who attack the player wing at the beginning of the mission to spice things up a bit as well.

EDIT: I've also turned the Sath's destruction into a cutscene where the Colly gives it a taste of all its BFGreens at once, which is overkill but looks pretty cool (I hope)

yeah, that's what I was thinking. The song is only there because I copied the .tbl from a campaign I was making before about a post-capella campaign in which there's an uncharted jump node on the fringe of capellan space and the story follows a pilot whose suffering from ptsd (he's the sole survivor of his wing during the exodus) and thus most of the missions include some kind of inconveniant 'flashback' cutscene

There are two ways around this.  1) Name the music file aquitaine.ogg (or wav) or 2) Add your music to a music TBM (or tbl) under a new name and modify mainhall.tbl to use it.
